Philip Heath, Partner and Charity Specialist Harrison Clark Rickerbys Solicitors

Philip is a partner in the Commercial team and a longstanding member of the Charity Law Association. He specialises in advice to the charity sector and leads on contract negotiation, drafting and governance matters for Charities. Central to his practice is the provision of advice and support on corporate governance issues to senior leadership teams and trustees, including duties and powers, charitable responsibilities and requirements and regulatory matters. He is also the governor of an academy school and until recently was the trustee of a charity providing services for adults with learning disabilities.

Nicholas Ford, Associate Director, Ease Training

Nicholas Ford has 20 years’ experience of the charitable sector, both as a Chief Executive and Trustee of a number of charities.As the Chief Executive for 14 years of The Ernest Cook Trust, a multi-million pound organisation and one of the country’s leading educational charities, Nicholas was responsible for all areas of operation of the Trust, reporting to and liaising closely with the Chairman and Trustees.Nicholas brings his extensive experience of running a national charity to help charities to apply for grants, and shares his tips on  effective Grant giving and applications.

Rachael King,Associate Solicitor,Harrison Clark Rickerbys Solicitors

Rachael is an experienced commercial law practitioner, having worked both in-house and in private practice.  Her clients range from PLCs and SMEs as well as clients in the charity sector. Prior to joining Harrison Clark Rickerbys, Rachael was Legal Counsel at a large not for profit organisation.  Rachael consults and trains regularly on Data Protection and GDPR
