Penny has extensive experience in advising charities and Not-for-Profit organisations on a wide range of constitutional and governance matters. Penny also has considerable experience in advising on the establishment of new charities and their registration with the Charity Commission.    Penny advises on charity law issues relating to the administration of grant-making charities, including grant-making policies, grant conditions and investment powers.

Alix Garfath-Cox is a manager in the Not for Profit team of Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP. Alix’s clients include a wide range of schools and charities. Having previously worked in an international non-governmental organisation as Director of Finance for 4 years, including 6 months on placement in a finance team in Rwanda, Alix is a specialist in accounting for organisations operating internationally.

Russell joined Brewin Dolphin in 2011 after spending 15 years in the City at US based investment bank Merrill Lynch where he worked in the institutional client division. Since joining Brewin Dolphin he hasfocussed on Charity and Institutional accounts.
