Con has advised charities of all kinds for more than 15 years and specialises in helping clients with the governance and the strategic challenges that they face. Con acts for clients across the charity sector, from small social enterprises to universities and charities operating nationally and internationally. He is a member of the Charity Law Association and has sat on a number of CLA working parties. Con is also the author of ‘Charity Governance’ (published by Jordans).

Serena Tierney,Partner, VWV Solicitors

Serena is a partner in the VWV Commercial team. She has many years’ experience working in-house at FTSE 100 companies such as Disney, Diageo and O2. She currently works with UK and international hi tech companies, universities, research and development organisations, design companies, charities, industry regulatory bodies and standards development organisations. Her work includes data privacy,GDPR implementation and governance.

Chloe Bilby, Specialist Accountant (Non Profits), Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP

Chloe Bilby is an experienced audit manager in the Non Profit team of Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP. Chloe joined Crowe in 2014, having trained and qualified in a general practice, to specialise and focus on her underlying passion for the not-for-profit sector. Since then she has worked on a range of schools, academies, national and global charities of all shapes and sizes.

Eoghan Daly,Senior Manager Forensic and Counter Fraud Services ,Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP

Eoghan is an experienced project manager and has worked with organisations across the private and public sector. His experience includes the delivery of complex and multi-stakeholder projects related to a wide variety of topics. Eoghan led the development of Crowe’s cybercrime and data protection services. He has spoken widely on the topic of counter fraud and cybercrime and how organisations can apply good practice to strengthen resilience.

Ruth Murphy, Head of Charities,  Brewin Dolphin

Ruth Murphy joined Brewin Dolphin  in 2011 and is also a member of the Stewardship Group and Corporate Responsibility Committee. Ruth previously worked at Newton Investment Management Ltd, the Charities Aid Foundation and disability charity SCOPE. She is a trustee of a grant making charitable trust; and a member of a church finance committee.

Richard Levinge is the Director and founder of Ease Training. Richard has been Chair of a charity and is Chair of Governors at a large Special school. Richard has a passion for practical training based on many years training experience.
