Alix Garfath-Cox is a manager in the Not for Profit team of Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP. Alix’s clients include a wide range of schools and charities. Having previously worked in an international non-governmental organisation as Director of Finance for 4 years, including 6 months on placement in a finance team in Rwanda, Alix is a specialist in accounting for organisations operating internationally.

Penny Byatt, Senior Associate, Charles Russell Speechlys LLP

Penny has extensive experience in advising charities and Not-for-Profit organisations on a wide range of constitutional and governance matters. Penny also has considerable experience in advising on the establishment of new charities and their registration with the Charity Commission.   She enjoys providing training to charity trustees and working with charities to improve their governance arrangements. Penny advises on charity law issues relating to the administration of grant-making charities, including grant-making policies, grant conditions and investment powers.

Russell joined Brewin Dolphin in 2011 after spending 15 years in the City at US based investment bank Merrill Lynch where he worked in the institutional client division. Since joining Brewin Dolphin he hasfocussed on Charity and Institutional accounts.

Richard Levinge, Director, Ease Training

Richard Levinge is the Director and founder of Ease Training. Richard has been Chair of a charity and a trustee of a major charitable project. Richard has a passion for practical training based on many years training experience with roles in the Royal Navy, legal services, charities and education.
